Troubleshooting

Introduction​

This chapter helps you identify and resolve common problems that may occur when using SOL-LED+.

Before contacting technical assistance, always carry out the checks indicated.


The display does not turn on

Possible causes​

  • no power supply;
  • reversed polarity;
  • incorrect wiring;
  • faulty power supply.

Checks​

  1. Check the supply voltage.
  2. Check the polarity.
  3. Check the terminals.
  4. Check the correct operation of the power supply.

The display turns on but the lights remain off

Possible causes​

  • program not active;
  • wrong time;
  • output not configured;
  • incorrect wiring.

Checks​

  1. Check the date and time.
  2. Check the selected program.
  3. Check the active room.
  4. Check the connection of the LEDs.

The lights always remain on

Possible causes​

  • incorrect configuration;
  • incorrect program;
  • active night light;
  • incorrect custom settings.

Checks​

  1. Check the selected program.
  2. Check the night light.
  3. Check the sunrise and sunset times.
  4. Check your custom settings.

Sunrise and sunset do not work properly

Possible causes​

  • incorrect dawn duration;
  • incorrect sunset duration;
  • incorrect time.

Checks​

  1. Check Sunrise Duration.
  2. Check Sunset Duration.
  3. Check the date and time.

The relay does not switch

Possible causes​

  • relay disabled;
  • incorrect PWM threshold;
  • incorrect wiring.

Checks​

  1. Check that the relay is enabled.
  2. Check the PWM threshold.
  3. Check the load connection.

The night light does not activate

Possible causes​

  • function disabled;
  • level set to zero;
  • wrong time.

Checks​

  1. Check your night light setup.
  2. Check the set level.
  3. Check the date and time.

AstroGPS generates incorrect times

Possible causes​

  • incorrect coordinates;
  • UTC wrong;
  • wrong date.

Checks​

  1. Check latitude.
  2. Check longitude.
  3. Check UTC.
  4. Check the date and time.

Buttons are not responding

Possible causes​

  • insufficient pressure;
  • temporary system freeze.

Checks​

  1. Wait a few seconds.
  2. Repeat the operation.
  3. Restart your device.

The settings seem to change on their own

Possible causes​

  • modification of the active room;
  • accidental modification of parameters.

Checks​

  1. Check the selected room.
  2. Check the program used.
  3. Check your custom settings.

The two outputs follow the same schedule

Possible causes​

  • Room use set to 1 room;
  • intentional configuration to use both outputs on the same environment, for example to distribute the power across two LED groups.

Checks​

  1. Enter the Device temp menu.
  2. Press MENU to reach Room use.
  3. Set 2 rooms if you want independent outputs.
  4. Confirm with ENTER.

Configuration Restore

Before performing a reset, note:

  • program used;
  • custom parameters;
  • AstroGPS settings;
  • relay configuration;
  • night light configuration.

Before Contacting Support

Prepare the following information:

  • device model;
  • firmware version;- detailed description of the problem;
  • photographs of the connections;
  • photographs of the affected screens.

Technical Assistance

To speed up the diagnosis, always indicate:

  • firmware version;
  • configuration used;
  • selected program;
  • any changes made before the problem appeared.

This allows for quicker identification of the causes.
