What is SOL-LED+​

SOL-LED+ is a professional photoperiod regulator designed for the automatic management of LED lighting systems powered by very low direct voltage.

The device allows you to simulate in a natural way:

  • dawn
  • day
  • sunset
  • night light

The automatic management of the photoperiod allows you to reproduce seasonal variations in the duration of light during the year.

What is photoperiod for​

A dawn-dusk control unit is used to automatically manage the lighting of the farm. Regulates switching on, off and light intensity progressively, avoiding sudden transitions between darkness and full light.

In ornithology, regular management of daylight hours can help accompany rest, moulting, preparation for reproduction and singing, always respecting the biological needs of the animals.

For those who breed live decoys, the gradual control of the light-dark cycle allows you to simulate the seasonal trend in a closed room and prepare the animals for the hunting period with more natural transitions. Use must always comply with current regulations and correct animal husbandry and welfare practices.

Room management​

SOL-LED+ manages two programmable outputs.

From the device menu you can choose the method of use:

  • 2 rooms: the two outputs work as independent rooms;
  • 1 room: the second output follows the first, useful when you want to drive the same environment with both outputs, for example to distribute the power on two groups of LEDs.

In 2 rooms mode, each room can use:

  • different programs
  • different settings
  • different program times
  • different configurations

The two rooms share the same internal clock.

Operating philosophy​

SOL-LED+ was designed to simplify photoperiod management.

The user can choose between:

  • automatic programs
  • personalized programs
  • astronomical mode based on GPS coordinates

Once the initial configuration is completed, the device automatically manages the daily changes.

Control panel​

The main buttons are MENU, OK, directional arrows and INSP. for night inspection.

The front lights indicate the room reference 1, the room 2 and the status of the night inspection N.I..
