First Configuration

Introduction​

When you turn it on for the first time, it is advisable to immediately check the main system settings.

Correct initial configuration guarantees the correct functioning of all the automatic functions of the device.

Recommended Operations​

After the first ignition, check in this order:

  1. Language
  2. Date
  3. Now
  4. Use of rooms
  5. Selected room
  6. Intensity
  7. Program used
  8. Sunrise duration
  9. Sunset duration

Language setting​

Real route:

MENU -> Language

Procedure:

  1. Press MENU.
  2. Select Language.
  3. Press ENTER.
  4. Select the desired language.
  5. Press ENTER to confirm.

Your changes are automatically saved.

Date and Time setting​

Correct setting of the date and time is essential for the operation of the automatic programs.

Real route:

MENU -> Modify / Date / Time

Procedure:

  1. Press MENU.
  2. Select Modify / Date / Time.
  3. Press ENTER.
  4. Set current date.
  5. Set current time.
  6. Confirm with ENTER.

Room selection​

SOL-LED+ manages two rooms with separate programs and parameters.

Before changing any parameter, always check the currently selected room.

Many settings are stored separately for each room.

Date and time are shared: the control unit uses a single time reference and aligns room 2 with room 1.

Setting Room use​

Real route:

MENU -> Device temp -> MENU -> Room use

Available values:

  • 1 room
  • 2 rooms

With 2 rooms, the two outputs maintain separate programs and parameters.

With 1 room, room 2 copies room 1: day light, night light, inspection ramp and relay status follow room 1.

Use 1 room when you don't need different programs and you want to use both outputs for the same environment, for example to distribute the power across two groups of LEDs.

The default value is 2 rooms.

Intensity' setting​

Real route:

MENU -> Intensity'

The screen allows you to choose how to limit the main light of the active room:

  • Fixed: use only one maximum limit;
  • Seasonal: uses a minimum and maximum limit calculating the value of the day based on the photoperiod.

Real limits of percentage values:

  • minimum: 10 %
  • maximum: 100 %
  • maximum limit default value: 80 %

In Seasonal mode, Season Min cannot exceed Season Max.

Program Selection​

After configuring the date and time you can choose the desired program.

Real route:

MENU -> Use Program

Sunrise and sunset setting​

It is advisable to check:

  • dawn duration;
  • sunset duration.

Higher values ​​produce smoother transitions.

Lower values ​​produce faster changes.

System Verification​

Once the initial configuration is complete, check:

  • correct display visualization;
  • correct functioning of the buttons;
  • correct selection of the room;
  • correct program selected;
  • correct functioning of the outputs.

Configuration Complete​

Once the initial configuration is completed the device is ready for normal use.

The settings are automatically saved and remain stored even in the event of a power failure.
