Introduction

What is SOL-LED​

SOL-LED is a professional photoperiod regulator for LED lighting systems powered by very low direct voltage.

The device allows you to simulate:

  • progressive dawn;
  • full daylight;
  • progressive sunset;
  • reduced intensity night light;
  • temporary switching on for night inspection.

The automatic management of the photoperiod allows you to reproduce controlled variations in the duration of the light during the year or according to a personalized program.

What is photoperiod for​

A dawn-dusk control unit is used to automatically manage the lighting of the farm. Regulates switching on, off and light intensity progressively, avoiding sudden transitions between darkness and full light.

In ornithology, regular management of daylight hours can help accompany rest, moulting, preparation for reproduction and singing, always respecting the biological needs of the animals.

For those who breed live decoys, the gradual control of the light-dark cycle allows you to simulate the seasonal trend in a closed room and prepare the animals for the hunting period with more natural transitions. Use must always comply with current regulations and correct animal husbandry and welfare practices.

Two rooms​

In the manual the term room indicates one of the two outputs controlled by the device.

Each room can have:

  • different program;
  • different sunrise and sunset duration;
  • different maximum brightness;
  • different night light;
  • different energy saving.

The device uses a single internal clock shared by the two rooms. The two outputs can therefore have separate programs and parameters, but the reference date and time are common.

First screen when turning on​

At startup the display shows:

  • Season Generator;
  • SoL-Led;
  • the installed version;
  • the serial number, when applicable.

After the initial screen the device enters the main page.
