Time and date

SOL-7000 uses an internal clock to calculate schedules, times and daily progressions.

Why it matters​

Correct date and time are needed for:

  • dawn;
  • sunset;
  • automatic programs;
  • seasonal progressions;
  • AstroGPS;
  • Personal2.

Menu path​

Route:

MENU -> Edit -> Time and Date

Screens displayed:

  1. Modify / Time and Date
  2. Time/Date

Setting​

The Time/Date screen allows you to set the hour, minute, day, month and year.

Commands:

  • LEFT increases hours;
  • UP increases minutes;
  • DOWN increases day;
  • RIGHT increases the month;
  • MENU increases the year;
  • ENTER confirms.

Set the date and time when you first turn it on and check them again after long periods without power.

If the device is used for seasonal programs or to gradually shift the photoperiod, the clock must be kept correct.

Periodic checks​

Periodically check:

  • current time;
  • date;
  • selected program;
  • consistency between the displayed time and the desired light cycle.

Assistance​

If the time shifts noticeably or the program does not follow the set times, contact assistance indicating the model, date of purchase and observed behavior.
