Installation
Install the Standard bars in a dry, protected and easily inspectable environment. Organize the cable routing before fixing the bars, so as to avoid traction on the connectors.
Protection degree: IP00​
Standard LED bars have a IP00 protection rating: they have no protection against the ingress of dust or water. Bars, connectors and cables must therefore remain dry, clean and installed exclusively in a protected internal environment.
They are not suitable for water jets, splashes, immersion, condensation, washing or installations exposed to dust. Do not install them outdoors, in damp rooms or where water can reach LEDs, connectors or cables.
On the farm, position drinking troughs and bath trays so that water and splashes cannot reach the bars. Do not install them under bathroom outlets or in areas where water can drip onto LEDs, connectors or cables.
If a bar, a connector or a cable gets wet, immediately disconnect the upstream power supply. Do not disconnect or turn the system back on until it has been dried, checked and deemed suitable by qualified personnel.
Procedure​
- Disconnect the system power supply.
- Check the nominal voltage of the rod on the plate.
- Fix the bar without deforming it and without covering the components.
- Connect positive and negative respecting the polarity.
- Secure the cable and make sure it does not touch hot or moving parts.
- Turn the power back on and check the light dimming.
Never connect a Standard bar directly to the mains at 230 V AC. For work on the fixed system, contact qualified personnel.
