Installation
The LED bars are intended for a low voltage system created in a dry and protected environment. Position them so that the light is distributed evenly and that the connectors and cables remain inspectable.
Protection degree: IP00​
The PRO LED bars have a IP00 protection rating: they have no protection against the ingress of dust or water. Bars, connectors and cables must therefore remain dry, clean and installed exclusively in a protected internal environment.
They are not suitable for water jets, splashes, immersion, condensation, washing or installations exposed to dust. Do not install them outdoors, in damp rooms or where water can reach LEDs, connectors or cables.
On the farm, position drinking troughs and bath trays so that water and splashes cannot reach the bars. Do not install them under bathroom outlets or in areas where water can drip onto LEDs, connectors or cables.
If a bar, a connector or a cable gets wet, immediately disconnect the upstream power supply. Do not disconnect or turn the system back on until it has been dried, checked and deemed suitable by qualified personnel.
Procedure​
- Turn off and disconnect the power supply to the system.
- Check that the rod voltage and the supply voltage match.
- Secure the bar without compressing the circuit or connectors.
- Connect the input cable and, if necessary, the cable to the next bar.
- Secure cables to avoid snags, tight bends, or contact with hot surfaces.
- Turn the power back on and check the operation of the main light and night light.
Do not cover the bars with insulating materials and do not expose them to conductive dust or cleaning products. If the installation requires work on the electrical system, contact qualified personnel.
